As an up-to-date business, we always strive to give you the very latest technology in the field of industrial automation, while keeping your bussiness and budget in mind.

Controltec was established in March of 2003 and has been in bussiness ever since.  We supply electrical and control solutions for the industry in South Africa and abroad.  More can be found about certain projects and customers in the projects section.  we will also build and ship pre-configured equipment to you for installation only.  We have doing this succesfully for the last 3 years.  Included with all projects are CAD drawings done on WSCAD.

Our aim

Our aim is not only to do bussiness with you, but to have a partnership, where ideas can be shared and the best solutions found by interacting with the client.  We try to establish a long term relationship with our clients where trust is essential. 

The list of our long term clients is evidence to the fact that we are at least doing something right along the way.  Most of the clients have been with us from the start of the the company and are still using us today on a regular basis.

Our aim is not provide you the most cost effective solution for your bussiness, especially in the current economic climate, where the best value for money is key.  Whether it is fitting a timer into your existing system to make it work more efficiently or whether it is building a brand new state of the art control panel from scratch.

At Controltec we always put quality first.  The aim is for you to have hassle free operation from your electrical equipment, not only now but for years to come.  That is why we always try and use the best equiment possible.  We use quality equipment from all the big brand equipment suppliers, such as Schneider Electric, Phoenix Contact, Omron, Yaskawa(Varispeed) as well as local suppliers such as Electro Mechanica.  Other brands can be requested as required.  These global suppliers and brands also enable us to build control equipment suitable for use around the world and spares can be found at your local suppliers.

We however specialize in automation and control systems.  All automation equipment is provided by Schneider Electric (Telemecanique, Modicon, Magelis) unless requested otherwise.  Switchgear can be fitted as to the requirements of the project.  control panels are built for all supply voltages up to 525V and ar built according to IEC specifications.  IEC switchgear is also used for all equipment, even equipment for export to the USA.
